Last week the 32nd edition of SIFO National Congress (Italian Society of Hospital Pharmacy and of Pharmaceutics Services of Sanitary Company – Società Italiana di Farmacia Ospedaliera e dei Servizi Farmaceutici delle Aziende Sanitarie) took place with the title “The new technologies: how does Sanity change?”. As technology in pharmaceutical field was the main topic of the congress, occasions for discussing about APOTECAchemo were numerous.

Last 21st of September APOTECAchemo was installed at l’ASL 01 in Avezzano-Sulmona-L’Aquila . This is the first hospital of the Abruzzo region to choose the automation within the pharmacy.
Last 12 septembre ISO 13485 certificate has been confirmed.
ISO 13485:2004 namely “Medical Devices – Quality Management System“ is an International standard conceived to be used by enterprises as a point of reference for the Quality Management Systems, within the field of design, production, installation and putting on the market of medical devices or services closely related to them, from surgical gauzes to more sophisticated devices.
Once validated the IEO pharmacy space and completed the training course, the medical staff of IEO – European Oncology Institute – is ready to use APOTECAchemo System. Continue reading
